Kolkata, 11 Jan 2023: Kolkata Book Fairs (Book Mela), Spain will be the Focal Theme Country of the 46th International Kolkata Book Fair 2023. THE 46th International Kolkata Book Fair will be held from January 30 to February 12 next year and Spain has been selected as the focal theme country of the fair, organizers said on Wednesday.
The International Kolkata Book Fair (IKBF), or Boi Mela to Kolkatans, will be back on January 30, 2023, with Spain as its focal country. The Book Fair will be open at Salt Lake Central Park till February 12, 2023.
Bangladesh Book Fair in Kolkata 2022, the 10th edition of the event, will be held from December 2-11. The venue for the fair is the book hub of Kolkata, College Square, located on College Street.
With a total footfall of over 2 million people, it is one of the world's largest book fairs by attendance. The New Delhi World Book Fair, hosted at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, is India's oldest book fair after the Kolkata Book Fair.
