An earthquake of 3.50 magnitude struck Assam-Nagaland-Manipur, India on Monday morning, the tremors of which were felt in Northeast apart from neighboring Meghalaya and southern parts of Assam. The National Center for Seismology reported as per earthquake application that the quake was recorded at 12:38:22am, with its epicenter at Assam-Nagaland Shankhumai North at a depth of 10.00 km and distance 246km from Tezpur, Assam, location 25.420°N, 93.970°E in Nagaland, North of Shangkhumai.

In upper Assam districts, including Guwahati and Mizoram, people came out of their homes in panic earthquake today in nagaland. Tremors of the earthquake have also been felt in the southern districts Arunachal Pradesh including Tezo and Hailong.

 

There was no immediate report of any injury to anyone or damage to any property, officials said by an earthquake today in nagaland district.
